Kiko

& Joanne & Jean-Francois

So things happened pretty quickly with Kiko. From seeing his story on the website, attending the zoom interview and then being chosen as his new family, it all happened within a week. Next thing we were at the airport to collect him. Not much time to prepare… but then how do you actually prepare for a dog like Kiko!!! It was challenging bringing him home to a house with two existing dogs but we did our best and he settled in within no time. He is a perfect fit in our family. Lex now has a buddy who can play hard and fight hard like him and Guinness (now 14 years old) can now sit back and enjoy the retirement he was looking forward to. It has been awesome watching Kiko learn and grow. His first winter was amazing. As you would expect he loves the snow. It was hard to get used to him wanting to be outside all the time. Spring brought mud (and lots of it!) and more new and exciting things like birds, bunnies and butterflies. Now that summer is here he is back in the pool and has even enjoyed his first ride on the boat. The amount of joy he brings us is unmeasurable. Life is chaotic and crazy but luckily for Kiko that's exactly how we roll ! Thank you so much FurBae :)
