I contacted Fur Bae after looking in our local shelters and not finding the right fit for our lifestyle which is really active trailrunners. We wanted a dog who loved to run and was gentle with our kitties.  They asked questions and helped narrow down what would be the best fit for our family. We met Max not long after contacting Fur Bae and trusted their opinion on him being a good fit for us.  He was really shy when we picked him up but after a few hours he was a sweet cuddler.  The first week was rough with our cats not because Max wasn’t good with them but because they are cats and well dogs are beneath them.  We also found out later they were stealing his food and throwing it up.  🤪 He is now such a cherished family member who brings so much joy to our lives and runs through the woods with us like it was what he was born to do.  The people at Fur Bae were so good about communicating, being understandable about our cats and supporting us through the process. We can’t imagine our life without him now and the cats well they have decided to begrudgingly accept him and even sneak a snuggle.
