Samson is looking for a dog experienced quiet home, where he can spend a lot of time with his people. The perfect fit for Samson would be someone with dog experience, reactive dog experience and lot’s of time to commit to force and fear free training. Samson would do very well with one or two other medium or larger sized, confident and stable dogs. We are looking at a child free and cat free home.
Samson is a very cuddly, stick-with-you-like-glue guy. We are looking for someone that works from home or is retired. Samson will need his people to be home with him all the time, at least for the first part of his transition into your home. Samson will do best with a family that has experience with high drive or working dogs and sees his exuberance as a bonus rather than something to train out of him.
Currently, Samson is in a board and train. Fur Bae along with dedicated trainer Sabrina is offering full trainer support for Samson and his adopters. With the opportunity to visit Samson in his board and train to get to know him and his personality.
Samson is deaf. Samson received blunt force trauma at some point in his life before Fur Bae and this has resulted in deaf-ness and partial blindness. He is learning training cues through ASL and visual cues. He is treat motivated, loves toys and is extremely clever.
