violet

3.5 years old. Vancouver Island.

violet is available to adopt on vancouver island!

Violet is a tiny girl who came to Vancouver as part of the SPCA International's "Mission Possible" to help rescue dogs from a shelter in Afghanistan. Violet is incredibly affectionate with her people, and LOVES other dogs.

Violet needs access to the outdoors. She is not picky. It does not have to be a huge backyard. A balcony would do for this lady. She feels safer outside. She loves to just lay out in the fresh air. A home where she can wander in and out would be ideal.

She is great when left alone and is not destructive. She is able to settle quickly.

Violet is nervous around some men but is great if she is allowed to meet on her terms. She needs time to suss them out (soz men!) But she is currently in foster with a lovely man and loves him to death. She's just picky, k?

Violet likes kids. We suggest three years and up - she will need slow intros but has done great with the children she has been introduced to.

Violet would do incredibly well with people who are open to providing her with the training structure she needs during her decompression period.

This lady is low to medium energy. She would like a good 30-minute walk a couple of times a day. And then sleep on her bed or outside.
