DIDDY

& THE JOHANSON FAMILY

It all started with my son (age 3) asking for a dog like Chase (from Paw Patrol)… 

I had wanted a dog from when I was 8, and never was able to have one, I’d told myself when I was a “grown up” it would happen. Eventually kids happened and life was busy but after my sons question we started to rethink when is the “right” time?? We talked about it, did our regular pros and cons list and we decided there is never a perfect time, but we do have enough love for a dog. 

Our house is mom, dad, 2 kids and 2 cats. We contacted Furbae, met with Leanne, they suggested Diddy would be a good match, a few weeks later he joined our family. It was a HECTIC transition. A lot of stuff suddenly happened outside of the adoption (sickness, family death, car troubles, etc.) however Furbae was a real support any time we had questions and Diddy was just ready to be loved. We’ve had him for 3 weeks now and it feels like it was meant to be. He is happy, excited and so loving. Our kids are beyond happy and tell us every day how much they love Diddy, it’s hard work managing everything but we wouldn’t have it any other way and considering it’s only been 3 weeks we are super proud of how well Diddy has just settled in to our family. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a dog to go through Furbae.
